Apa sih TOEFL IBT ?

The TOEFL iBT™ test, administered in an internet-based format. The TOEFL iBT test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. And it evaluates how well you combine your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks.

There are two formats for the TOEFL test. The format you take depends on the location of your test center. Most test takers take the Internet-based Test (iBT). Test centers that do not have Internet access offer the Paper-based Test (PBT).

IELTS is the International English Language Testing System which tests English proficiency across the globe. Conducting 1.4 million tests globally, IELTS is the world’s most popular English testing system.

The General Training format focuses on basic survival skills in broad social and workplace contexts. It is typically for those who are going to English-speaking countries to do secondary education, work experience or training programs. People migrating to Australia, Canada and New Zealand must sit the General Training test.

It should be noted that certain professions require an Academic test result for registration and migration purposes.

Nah sekarang gak bingung ya untuk memilih mau ambil tes IELTS atau TOEFL well the bottom line is ..dua2nya sudah diakui dunia luas so mo pilih TOEFL atau IELTS tergantung dari pilihan test takers :)
